MTH Performing Arts offers students a unique opportunity to develop and broaden skills in acting, voice work, singing, dancing and movement.
It’s a chance to not only learn new performance techniques, but also build confidence, improve communication skills, and give young people the opportunity to be part of a company where they can make new friends for life.
Classes are led in a fun and energetic environment with high expectations on students and staff to work hard, achieve results and do the best they can.
Middlesbrough Town Hall re-opened its doors earlier this year following the biggest make-over in its 129-year history.
The stunning Heritage Lottery Fund-supported revamp has brought rarely seen elements of the Grade II-listed building back into use, refreshed performance areas and created a whole new visitor experience.

The venue is already under way with an expanded events programme, with the team planning brand new entertainment, participation and community events that mean there truly is something for everyone.
Middlesbrough Town Hall Engagement Officer Rebecca Johnson said: “Our Performing Arts classes are delivered by fully qualified and highly trained artists.
“The opportunity to practise and perform each week in the amazing space at Middlesbrough Town Hall - along with exceptional value for money - makes this a fantastic activity for any child.”
Middlesbrough Town Hall tutors have a wide variety of training including LAMDA, Central School of Speech and Drama, Arts Educational Schools and Italia Conti, along with teachers who work professionally throughout the North East. All tutors are DBS checked.
Learn, create and excel with the talented company at MTH Performing Arts, leading to a special performance at Middlesbrough Theatre in July, 2019.
