Sleaford Mods Bring New Album Tour to the Town Hall

By Published February 18, 2019

ONE of the most important, politically charged and thought-provoking duos on the UK music scene will be live at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Friday, March 8.

Sleaford Mods have returned to their independent roots by releasing their new album themselves on their own newly created Extreme Eating label.

Eton Alive will be the duo’s first album since they parted ways with Rough Trade Records.

The electronic music punk outfit from Nottingham have had spots on Jools Holland and played Glastonbury.

Their last two releases saw the pair - Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn - achieve top 20 chart successwithout a radio hit.

With a minimalist musical style, Sleaford Mods deliver embittered explorations of modern working class life, celebrities and pop culture.

New studio album Eton Alive is out this month and will be showcased during a 33-date tour that kicks off in Belfast.

  • Sleaford Mods will be at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Friday, March 8 at 7.30pm. 14+ only – under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are £20 plus booking fee – to book visit www.middlesbroughtownhall.co.uk or call the Box Office on 01642 729 729.

  • I love radio – its immediacy and especially its intimacy… it is part of your life, whispering into your ear. You can’t see it, but equally importantly it can’t see you. – Malcolm Turnbull
