Christmas Orange Pip Makes a Welcome Return

By Published December 06, 2019

ORANGE Pip is back with a festive twist on Saturday, December 21.

It takes place in Middlesbrough Town Hall and promises to be overflowing with food, fun and entertainment.

From noon-6pm the Town Hall Court Yard will be packed with Orange Pip foodie favourites so visitors can stock up ready for Christmas including Fat Hippo, Spud Gun Loaded Fries, Red Heads Mac N' Cheese, Armenian Family, Cubanos and much more.

Live music in the Crypt will include the fantastic Jay Moussa-Mann, Post Rome, Back Yard Rhythm Orchestra and not forgetting Rock-a-oki featuring YOU creating your very own rockstar experience.

For those last minute Christmas cards and gifts why not pop into the Old Fire Station and enjoy the fabulous Arty Market - there's even a wrapping service available for those who are all fingers and thumbs with sellotape, paper and ribbons.

The Town Hall bars will be open across three levels, including an outdoor pop-up bar in the Courtyard. If winter warmers are more up your street, don't miss Tap Garden's Aztec Hot Chocolate, made with real chocolate and topped with more chocolate.

The main hall will double up as a cosy living room where Mrs Clause will be telling magical stories, cosy up and get comfy with a seasonal screening of Home Alone and Board Games Corner along with Orange Pip Art Collective and pottery workshops.

Other highlights include the Ugly Jumper Christmas Competition Christmas jumpers to win some Christmas treats, Christmas crackers and a whole host of naff Christmas activities.

And don't forget pip favourite Salsa Sam, Yoga, face painting and a few festive surprises thrown in for good measure. Orange Pip market is a must in this year's festive calendar!
