You can't have escaped the news about the civil war raging in Yemen.
The UN has called it the worst humanitarian crisis in the world at the moment, with an estimated 24 million people – nearly 80 per cent of the population of the country– need assistance and protection.
Many have been forced to leave their homes, famine is threatening hundreds of thousands of lives and humanitarian aid is increasingly becoming the only lifeline for millions across the country.
Families Relief will be providing essential food items to those in desperate need, during Ramadan.
To support the work of Families Relief, a fundraising dinner is taking place on 14 April 2019 in the Students Union Building of Teesside University.
Tickets cost just £10; you can spend an evening filled with entertainment, an inspirational reminder, and not forgetting a mouth watering 3 course meal.
Doors open at 6pm.
