Business Have A Ball With Daisy Chain At Vegas-Themed Winter Charity Event

Published December 02, 2022 By

Hundreds of supporters gathered on Friday 25th November at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield to celebrate Daisy Chain’s annual charity Winter Ball.

The flagship event welcomed supporters, families and volunteers for a night of celebration, fundraising and themed entertainment, raising over £25,000 for the charity.

The ball featured a night of amazing themed entertainment, casino games and dancing to live band music, with the King of Rock himself, Elvis even making an appearance!

The ball wouldn’t have been possible without the sponsorship from Northumbrian Water, Stainton Lighting Design Services, Newcastle Building Society, Dickens Self Storage, LEXUS, LJJ Contractors, Thirteen Group, MHG Photography and Bondgate IT.

Lisa Brudenell, a speaker at the Winter Ball whose family accesses support from Daisy Chain said: “My family has been accessing Daisy Chain for 11 years, and they’ve given us all emotional support and information to reassure us that we all could have a bright future. The team understands the needs of the whole family and, like angels, walk with us every step of the way into adulthood and beyond.

“It was a pleasure to be part of the Winter Ball this year, and share my experiences with attendees. It’s important to me that everyone knows how valuable Daisy Chain is.”

Daisy Chain CEO, Neeraj Sharma said: “Our Winter Ball is always a very special occasion, and this year was no different.

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended and made it such a fantastic evening as well as helping us raise funds to continue our work supporting autistic and neurodivergent children, adults and their families regionally and nationally as we head into our 20th year in 2023.”

Daisy Chain has continued to develop against a backdrop of COVID-19-related disruptions and obstacles, and funds raised will support the continuation of this.
