To celebrate Argos's 50th Birthday, new research commissioned by the retailer has revealed how children's play has transformed over the last half a decade.

Pupils at a Hartlepool primary school are calling on members of their community to help rid their neighbourhood of rubbish and dog dirt. 

They've also picked up free books in celebration of the campaign’s 5th anniversary.

The National Literacy Trust Hub in Middlesbrough made a series of generous book donations to ensure children across the town enjoyed a very merry Christmas.
