Plans for a ‘community guardians’ scheme to identify and respond to child exploitation

Leisure centre staff, hairdressers and local business owners will be trained to help identify and support children at risk of criminal exploitation, as part of a new scheme.
Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland, Matt Storey, said: “The Government has ambitious plans for reducing crime and improving policing standards across the country, all of which require significant investment to enable PCCs and Chief Constables to improve services locally.
