Jools Holland to Return to Middlesbrough Town Hall

By Published November 27, 2017

JOOLS Holland is the latest big name act to be announced for the refurbished Middlesbrough Town Hall in 2018.

The national treasure and former Squeeze ivory tinkler will make a very welcome return to the Town Hall on Saturday, May 19 next year with his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

The gig follows on from his sold-out 2013, 2014 and 2015 concerts, and fans are guaranteed one of the highlights in the Town Hall programme.

The band will once again feature fellow ex-Squeeze member Gilson Lavis on drums as well as guest vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.

Middlesbrough Town Hall business development manager Rob Guest said: “Jools is a firm favourite of the Town Hall and we can’t wait to welcome him back to the restored and much improved venue next year.

“There is always a fantastic atmosphere when the band hit the stage and due to the show’s popularity in previous years we would strongly recommend early booking.”

  • Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra are on at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Tickets are £40/£36 and are on sale from 10am on Wednesday, November 22.
