Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and Prevention is central to creating safer cultures. The week offers an opportunity to reflect, learn, and take steps to support adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
The overarching theme for 2025 is Prevention, reflecting the importance of taking proactive steps to create safer, supportive environments for adults at risk. Safeguarding is not just the responsibility of professionals, it is everyone’s responsibility. This week is a chance to learn, reflect, and take practical action to keep adults safe.
To kick off the week, we sat down with Adrian Green, Independent Chair of TSAB, to talk about the key messages and daily themes of Safeguarding Adults Week. Adrian explains why the week matters, how organisations and individuals can contribute, and the importance of raising awareness in our communities.
