Musinc Nights are being laid on by MUSINC thanks to continued funding from the National Foundation for Youth Music
MUSINC is the Teesside Musical Inclusion Partnership which provides access to high quality music making for young people.
Operating across the Tees Valley, MUSINC works with a team of music leaders to help put music at the forefront of young people's lives.
It supports young people and focus on those living in challenging circumstances, between the ages of eight and 18, or under 25 if they have a SEN support plan or identify as disabled.
The face-to-face sessions - some online and some face-to-face - cover everything from music technology and songwriting to ukulele lessons and band jam sessions.
Especially welcome are young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity to access music-making due to barriers, and/or who identify as living in challenging circumstances.
Musical Inclusion Manager Rebecca Johnson said: "Music is such great way to express ourselves and to connect with others, and that's particularly true for young people.
"But we also know that they've had a really raw deal this year, and many have, and still are, experiencing social isolation.

"Our activities are predominantly group music making sessions, and our practitioners receive training in taking an inclusive approach to their delivery, meaning that anyone who wants to take part, can do so at their own pace and ability as part of the group.
"Instruments are available within the sessions, and in some cases we can arrange for instruments to be taken home.
"All activities are taking place within Middlesbrough Town Hall, and we hope that by welcoming young people into the building that we can bring it back to life with music!"
In addition to face-to-face sessions, there's a simultaneous online programme which mirrors the sessions, so young people can attend virtually if they'd prefer.
