Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?

By Published March 15, 2018

Calling all budding chefs: 'Come Dine With Me' is coming to town!

The popular culinary show returns to the Middlesbrough area in April and the show-makers are looking for fearless and fun-loving foodies who can serve tasty cuisine and chat to apply.

The show, famous for depicting culinary show-offs and the often awkward entertainment between courses, has been served up on our screens for over ten years now and has seen many memorable guests and some 'celebrity' episodes as well.

Over five days, each contestant visits the houses of their four fellow competitors for a full dinner party complete with entertainment - in all shapes and sizes - and has the guests over to their house for one evening as well.

Contestants have to be over 18 and from the Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool areas of the North East.

Applicants must be available for filming for five nights between 23-27 April.

Anyone interested in taking part for the chance to win a £1,000 cash prize should email their name, age, telephone number and area of residence to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

  • I think good radio often uses the techniques of fiction: characters, scenes, a big urgent emotional question. And as in the best fiction, tone counts for a lot. – Ira Glass
