Twisting Your Melon, Man in Middlesbrough!

By Published June 21, 2021

MIDDLESBROUGH Town Hall will play host to Madchester icon and music legend Shaun Ryder in January next year.

Fans can join the Happy Mondays and Black Grape frontman on Sunday 22nd January 2022 for an evening of droll banter and audience questions as Shaun discusses life, his career, the music scene and what it's really like to be on the telly, while watching telly, as a Celebrity Gogglebox star.

Singer, songwriter, television personality and author, Shaun Ryder, was the lead singer of Happy Mondays and Black Grape in the height of the Madchester cultural scene and early Britpop era of the late 80s, early 90s.

He was also the runner-up of the 10th series of ‘I'm a Celebrity' and regularly features with his best mate and sidekick, Bez, on the Celebrity Gogglebox sofa.

Tickets for An Audience with Shaun Ryder are £22.50 plus booking fee and are on sale from Friday 18th June at 10am via the Middlesbrough Town Hall website.
