Up-and-coming athletes in Middlesbrough are being given the opportunity to receive funding from a local leisure provider as part of its athletes mentoring scheme.

MORE than 2,500 runners from across Middlesbrough laced up their trainers and took part in one of the region’s most iconic road races on Saturday (1 July).

Runners from across Middlesbrough are being encouraged to tie up their trainers, put on their fitness gear and take part in one of the region’s best loved running events.
