The sessions on Friday, June 22 and Friday, June 29 are aimed at those about to start work or already employed in the catering, care or hospitality industries.
Subjects covered include food safety management, food poisoning control, cleaning and disinfection, food pests and the role of the food handler in keeping food safe.
The qualification is accredited and recognised internationally, and has been developed to meet the legal requirements regarding the training of food handlers.
The course is free to those on means-tested benefits or £33.
- The Food Hygiene course takes place at Easterside Community Hub, Broughton Avenue, Easterside TS4 3PZ from 9.30am to 230pm on Friday, June 22 and Friday, June 29.
