Middlesbrough will next month remember those who fought in conflicts around the globe and made the ultimate sacrifice. 

Ambulance colleagues attended Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday events across the North East to pay their respects to serving members of the armed forces and veterans.

MIDDLESBROUGH Mayor Andy Preston will lay the first poppy on the Field of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Linthorpe Road on Thursday, November 7.
