The competition was launched in April at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic to give Middlesbrough residents something to enjoy during lockdown.
Scores of local people then came forward to share their talents online including singers, dancers and other performers.
Now a judging panel made up of Cllr Mieka Smiles, Middlesbrough Council's Executive Member for Communities and Education, local actress Jessica Robinson, music promoter Junior Masandi, dancer Harry Henderson and Wildcats of Kilkenny frontman Mike McGrother, have shortlisted a final ten.

Cllr Smiles said: "We've had so many brilliant entries into Boro's Got Talent from people with so many different skills - it was difficult to put forward only ten.
"We will now look at finding a way of showcasing these wonderful talents online while we make longer term preparations for a live event at Middlesbrough Town Hall."
