Twenty One Pilots, Dave and Foals have been added to the line-up for Radio 1's Big Weekend 2019 in Middlesbrough – the station's annual flagship live music event.

ITV talent show The Voice just crowned a winner on Saturday as Molly Hocking was announced as The Voice UK 2019 winner and they are now looking for a 2020 potential winner.

Its talent scouts are out around the country already, looking for the next potential star and are coming to Middlesbrough this coming Thursday.

People in Middlesbrough are being encouraged to help shape the lives of the next generation by choosing a career in teaching, ahead of a recruitment event at the Jurys Inn Middlesbrough on Wednesday 6 March from 4:30 to 7:30pm.

People across the region are being asked to give the ThumbsUp to Cleveland Fire Brigade.
