Mayor Andy Preston has today given his backing to 22 Carrot Gold, the Middlesbrough Food Partnership's campaign to be awarded Sustainable Food Places gold status.

Grants are up for grabs to help Middlesbrough communities celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The funding's available for local events over the bank holiday weekend from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5.
