This weekend’s Perco Foods-sponsored event features the market’s famous tempting treats, delicious drinks and amazing gifts.
Families can also enjoy dance performances, craft workshops and crochet sessions hosted by TeesDance.
Visitors can help make giant flowers and deckchair designs that will be used at TeesDance’s mass performance at the Middlesbrough Mela in August.
Joining TeesDance on the music stage will be Teessider and BBC Radio 1 regular Jodie Nicholson, Hartlepool band Mt. Misery and producer and DJ Griffon.
The market features 25 stalls from around the North East, including the Tandoori Naan Hut, the Sunflower Kitchen and Tasty Tarts.
Cllr Philippa Storey, Middlesbrough’s Deputy Mayor and Executive member for Culture, said she was looking forward to a lively day in the town centre. “The summer holidays are here and thankfully we’ve enjoyed some brighter weather of late.
“Hundreds of families enjoyed the free Jurassic Boro event in Captain Cook Square recently and now it’s time for Orange Pip Market to take centre stage.
“We’ve got lots of brilliant independent traders setting up their stalls and an exciting programme of live music featuring outstanding local talent. Our wonderful bars and restaurants around Baker and Bedford streets will also be looking forward to a busy day.
“Thank you to the staff in the Council’s regeneration and culture teams for making the event happen."
Saturday’s Orange Pip Market takes place from 12pm – 7pm on Baker Street, Bedford Street and Albert Road.
Free weekend parking is available at the France Street car park, close to Cineworld.
